Dera Sacha Sauda followers and 45 Member Committee demanded an inquiry into the brutal murder of Dera Follower, Mahendra Pal Bittu, who was lodged in Nabha Jail, facing charges in a disrespect case. The funeral was stopped for 2 days until the demands are not met by the government. The followers have demanded to expose the conspiracy behind the assassination of Bittu and cancel the cases of dishonesty registered on Dera devotees as false.
There is a wave of mourning and fury in the devotees. Mahindra Pal Bittu had always participated in humanitarian deeds with all his heart and giving this kind of treatment in return is ironic. This has made people unhappy with the whole situation. 45-member Harcharan Insan said that for Mahendra Pal was implicated in false cases of insulting insinuation and then this. He said that the Dera devotees can never think like this. He said that the Dera devotees felicitate the holy Gurubani and are engaged in good deeds by learning from Gurbani. Also rev. Guru Ji Baba Ram Rahim JI has always motivated us towards peace harmony and brotherhood. it is his teachings that we abide by in every circumstance. Harcharan said that Bittu had got bail in those cases and in another case he was expected to get bail soon. He said that anti-social elements were afraid of the same thing that due to Bittu coming out, all lies will be exposed, due to which he was murdered. Harcharan Singh said that to achieve equitable-justice justice, they will fight with peace and tranquility. He said that we have two demands, the first demand that the forces working behind this murder should be exposed and all the accused should be exposed and strictly punished. For the second demand, Dera devotees, ask the authorities to rebuke the false cases of the disrespect of Shri Guru Granth Sahib.
It is said that the last Saturday two prisoners murdered Dera devotee Mahendrapal Bittu Insan Nabha Jail, with an iron rod.
Murder under conspiracy: Ramindra
Kotakpura Mahendrapal Bittu’s son, Raminder, has alleged that his father’s murder in Nabha jail has been done under a conspiracy. He told that his father’s bail hearing was to be held on July 16 and he had a hope that the court would grant him bail. Raminder said that due to the hope of getting bail his father was murdered under a pre-meditated conspiracy. He also said that some police personnel threatened his father in jail and not threatening to file a bail petition.
Regarding the irreverent cases recorded on Bittu, he said that his father respected Shri Guru Granth Sahib as his own holy text and could not even think of any such mishandling with any religious religion forget Guru Granth Sahib. Ramindra said that his father followed the holy teachings of Dera Sacha Sauda and Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan. He helped the needy and always worked towards humanity. He also asked the government to expose the conspiracy of the murder very soon and to cancel the false cases of dishonesty recorded on his father’s name.
